NEWS & NOTICES

There have been changes to the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) stamp for boaters navigating Connecticut’s inland waters. The updated measures aim to strengthen the fight against the spread of hydrilla and other invasive species. A news release and informational flyer provide an overview of the new stamp, how boaters can help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species, and how the AIS stamp can be purchased by Connecticut residents and non-residents.

Amos Lake Association is the recipient of The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) the fifth annual round of funding through the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Grant Program in the amount of $20,000.00 for the Control and Management of Hydrilla and Milfoil at Amos Lake.
