There have been changes to the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) stamp for boaters navigating Connecticut’s inland waters. The updated measures aim to strengthen the fight against the spread of hydrilla and other invasive species. A news release and informational flyer provide an overview of the new stamp, how boaters can help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species, and how the AIS stamp can be purchased by Connecticut residents and non-residents.

The 2025 Aquatic Invasive Species Treatment Dates are going to depend on weather and scheduling so the best information we have right now is as follows:
- Initial Sonar treatment for Hydrilla June 4, 2025
The shoreline at 6 Amos Rd, The State of Connecticut Boat Launch and the cove between 72 and 84 Lake View Dr
- Second Sonar treatment for Hydrilla and same day ProcellaCOR treatment of Milfoil (Late June-July)
All areas The shoreline at 6 Amos Rd, The State of Connecticut Boat Launch and the cove between 72 and 84 Lake View Dr as well as 222 Route 164, and 96-98 Lake View Dr
- Third Sonar treatment for Hydrilla (Late July-August)
